Early Morning Blues vs Late Night News

Life is pretty well back to normal after our round of winter storms. The snow - all 8 to 12 inches of it - is mostly gone and we've gotten into our regular routines again. I tell myself this is a good thing, even though it means we're back to getting up at what feels like the crack of dawn. All I can say is thank goodness for coffee.

I am not a morning person.

Which is odd, considering I used to have to get up at 4:30 am every morning for PT. *shrug* I probably should try to be more of a morning person, as I'd probably get more done. But I figure if I'm the age I am and haven't become one yet, chances aren't good that I'll suddenly start waking up bright eyed and bushy tailed. I'm thinking I'm okay with that. ;)

Since I'm more of a night owl, I tend to do my researching and writing during the evening hours. Hence the reason I'm on the laptop blogging at almost 9 at night. Well, that...and the fact that my kids have discovered The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and are watching the series on my desktop computer.

Anyway, the reason for tonight's blog.

I made the announcement earlier today on my social media accounts that I've set a release date for Her Last Love! It'll go live on Amazon and Kindle April 2, with a virtual launch party that evening. I'm super excited, and I'm looking forward to talking with people about the book and answering questions. It's going to be a red-letter day for me, folks. So I hope you'll follow my Facebook page to get the details (once they're posted) and join me in celebrating this monumental event in my life.

I may even have to buy a bottle of wine for the occasion. :)

Till next time,

H.C.
