And so it begins...

...the preparing of the manuscript for submitting to agents and publishers. The writing of the query letters and the synopsis. Gathering information from different publishers and agents, what they want and how they want it. And then, the hardest part.

The waiting.

Oh my goodness, the waiting! Waiting for letters of acceptance, or ones of rejection. Waiting for any reply at all. And patience is not my strong suit when it comes to something I've worked hard for and want so much. This process could be agonizing!

I just have to remind myself that I have a plan in place, and all I have to do is follow it. Keep my eye on the prize. And remember, above everything else, that I've accomplished something I set out to do as a teenager.

I wrote a book. :)
