Me & the Blogging Machine

So, you found my blog. Congratulations! Though I don't know how much I should congratulate anyone, considering.....I'm not much of a blogger. I've never been very good at it. Or at remembering to do it. Or coming up with things to blog about.

But I digress.

At the moment, I am working on my first novel. Currently I'm sitting between about 50-60k words. This is pretty good, when I think about the fact that I don't have a dedicated place to work (yet), such as a home office (I'm usually on the coach or on my bed with the laptop). And that I work full time, while trying to take care of a house, husband and kids. Or the fact that no one, other than a writer's group I belong to on Facebook, knows I'm writing. Not even my husband. So that'll be a shocker once he finds out. lol

Anyway, I'm not too terribly far off from my minimum goal of 80k words, but there are days where it feels like that goal is miles way. This book is the first part of a trilogy I have planned, and it's definitely been a learning experience so far. I'm looking forward to where this journey takes me, and hopefully, you'll come along for the ride. :)
